Introduction

Welcome to the Science Faculty.  The aims of FBS's Team Sc are:

• To excite curiosity and wonder.
• To introduce students to the methodology and activities of science.
• To create a learning environment which refines the pupils immediate experience of the natural world into a conceptual framework that advances their knowledge and understanding of science with due regard both to the applications and implications of science.
• To promote objectivity through critical evaluation of evidence, thus promoting a better understanding of social, economic and political issues of modern life.
• To encourage respect for the environment, appreciation of the natural world and sensitivity in dealing with living things.
• To examine the social and industrial context in which the science is applied.
