Both measures are well above national targets and show that the school is continuing to achieve outstanding outcomes for all students.

Friern Barnet School rated Outstanding by Ofsted

The school was inspected under Section 5 of the Education Act 2005 on 10 and 11 February 2011. The outcome of the inspection was that the school was judged to be providing an outstanding education for all its students.

With GCSE results of only 37% in 2006, rising to 89% in 2010, the Ofsted report recognized the superb achievements that the school has made over the last 4 and a half years.

Only 13% of schools in the country achieve this honour and the Ofsted rating underlines the superb opportunities that exist at the school.

Already ranked in the 8th percentile nationally for adding value to students’ achievements, Friern Barnet School is now amongst the very best of schools across the country.
