In Year 10 the students will complete the first module of the course and be examined on this at the end of the year. This unit covers both physical and human aspects of Geography such as hazardous earth, urbanisation and development. They also study the UK physical and human landscape as a background for fieldwork. In the Summer term they complete their field work units, which will involve an investigation into rivers and urban areas. All students will take part in two separate one day field trips to collect data. The field work questions now form part of the final examinations in Year 11.
