In Year 10 the students will complete units 4 - 10 of the course which investigates how global environments are under threat and the UK’s physical and human geography. The latter involves fieldwork investigations (day trips), on which there are exam questions to test their understanding of the techniques used and the accuracy of their results.
In Year 11, students complete the units 1 - 3 which investigate both physical and human aspects of Geography around the world such as hazardous earth, urbanisation and development.
Assessments take place throughout at the end of each unit to measure progress and help students prepare for their end of year exams.
