Learning Resource Centre

Our Learning Resource Centre is at the heart of Friern Barnet School, it aims to support students’ independent learning and gives them access to a wealth of information. Everyone can borrow a range of exciting and up to date books, both fiction and non fiction.

In light of Covid-19 we have put in place new measures to make sure the LRC is a safe space for students to continue to use resources and read for pleasure.

We have gone digital offering an online service of 'Click and Collect' which uses the 'Reserve' function on Reading Cloud. Students can check what is available and reserve books online.

Currently the LRC is open before school and during the afternoon break for students to borrow and return books.
