The Learning Resource Centre houses a vast range of resources for students and teachers.  Over 30 computers with online facilities, hundreds of reference books, interactive white board, plasma tv, newspapers, pamphlets and magazines.

The LRC also houses the Careers Library offering students careers information, advice and assistance on careers, Year 9 options, work placements/experience, compiling CVs and personal statements and support when making applications to College and University.

The LRC is open at break and lunchtimes.  Some Faculties run specialist clubs within the LRC and this information is posted on notice boards around the school.

The LRC is also a classroom where Enrichment and Raising Attainment lessons take place in preparing students with the necessary life skills for when they leave Friern Barnet School.
