Arts College staff manage an extensive programme of extra-curricular activities both in and out of normal school hours. This includes a range of musical ensembles which students can join at any time, clubs dedicated to particular instruments or for those wishing to extend their skills in visual art. The Dance and Drama departments have a rolling programme of performances to work towards and students are always welcome to get involved.  This is in addition to a full calendar of Twilight events in which students present and try out recent ideas from the classroom before a public audience. We have recently established the high-level Friern Barnet Dance and Drama Companies which meet for regular extended training sessions during term time, admitting students based on audition performance.
